Izeiah Mejia is a 2024 C/3B/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wiregrass Ranch. Medium build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.04 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has nice lower half quickness and agility, comes out of his crouch well with quick and efficient footwork, tends to get snatchy with his glove receiving and can work on exchange consistency, has some arm strength and carry, good tool base as a catcher to continue to improve. Also worked out in the outfield and infield and has the athleticism to play there, probably projects best at second base as a secondary position moving forward. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow straight stance with a short stride into contact, back side hitter with an uphill swing plane, puts the ball in the air consistently but will need to add significant strength in order to drive the ball with carry, has some swing characteristics to develop with some adjustments.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
