Armando Nicolas Persia is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Large, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, shows clean glove work at the bag and repeats actions, accurate throws from a medium length arm stroke, has some present arm strength, will continue to refine footwork moving forward. Shorter steps in the outfield, similar arm action with an extended slot, gets around the ball well and comes through the ball. Also pitched, moderate tempo to delivery, works across body some and creates lots of cutting action on the fastball up to 69 mph, shorter shape to curveball up to 59 mph when on time with release and on top of the ball. Left-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, loads hands back at start of swing. Looks to lift with swing and occasionally gets uphill with stroke through the zone, creates some jump off of the barrel to the pull side, should unlock more juice moving forward. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
