Michael Sanchez Jr is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 5-7 175 lb. frame from Palm City, FL who attends Martin County. Thick and compact build with good present strength. Simple mechanics on the mound that he repeats very well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph, gets nice cutting action on his fastball and has very good feel for working his fastball to the glove side, showed feel for getting above barrels up in the zone as well, was able to dominate with his fastball due to command and life. Also mixed in a big slow curveball but was a primary fastball pitcher this outing. Showed his athleticism well fielding his position. 8.09 runner in the sixty. Plays third base when not on the mound, showed nice balanced lower half actions and moved to his backhand well, some carry across the infield on his throws. Right handed hitter, leg raise trigger to his swing with a steady drift to his front side, swings hard with a line drive swing plane and middle of the field contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
