DeMarcus Reyes is a 2027 C/1B with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Buena Park, CA who attends Cypress. Recorded an 8.34 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a physical frame. Starts from a slightly staggered stance behind the plate and uses a short arm action. Repeated actions well on throw downs. Recorded a best pop time of 2.15. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Showed good bat speed and some whip to the barrel. Ball came off the barrel hard as he impacted it with strength and heavy hands. Worked the middle part of the field, showing lift to path. Produced frequent barrels and the power is a good tool moving forward.
