Alexander Berinato is a 2022 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Palm Harbor, FL who attends Palm Harbor University. Slender young pitchers build with some width to his hips and shoulders for future strength gains. Slow paced delivery that he repeats well, is fluid through release, compact arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics very well. Fastball topped out at 85 mph early, gets nice late running action at times with consistent good downhill plane. Big breaking soft curveball that he throws for strikes and locates well, gets lots of swing and miss on his curveball and does a nice job mixing his pitches and changing eye levels and speeds. Nice young right handed pitcher who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Good student.
