Shows good carry on the throws using the lower half with a 1.93 second pop time. Takes a measured approach in the outfield receiving the ball in the middle of his body before carrying momentum into the throws with some arm strength topping out at 85 mph. Showed similar arm strength on the mound topping out at 82 mph with a compact delivery getting to a higher arm slot to produce occasional arm side run with down hill plane. Landed the curveball in the zone for the most part with shorter downer action around 68 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wider base and open stance. Uses a simpler leg lift to trigger the swing. produced his best contact to the pull side when the weight transfer to contact is on time helping to add to the flashes of bat speed he showed. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
