Ryan Pierson is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Medium frame with the beginnings of some present strength. Compact arm action in back, hides the ball well, 3/4's arm slot, works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg raise. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly straight, will mix in a firm change up that mimics his fastball. Best pitch was a hard spinning 12/6 curveball with good shape and a feel for throwing strikes with it. Was successful when he was able to throw strikes with his fastball and get to his curveball in advantageous counts. Good student.
