Landan Browning is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Barberton, OH who attends Barberton. Long and athletic young build, projects very well physically. High leg lift delivery, medium arm circle in back, loose and whippy arm coming through. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with good downhill plane from a high 3/4's arm slot, can use his lower half more to help generate velocity, projects to keep adding velocity for years as he matures physically. Showed some good spin on a 11/5 curveball and maintained his arm speed well. 8.09 runner. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, keeps his hands tight with a short and direct swing path, limited shift into contact. Very good student. Named to the Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
