Roddy Woodard is a 2026 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 147 lb. frame from High Point, NC who attends Wesleyan Christian Academy. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with limited lower half shift into contact, has a loose swing with some extension, good rotation into his swing, gets the barrel out front well with pull side to mid field contact, has some projection as a hitter. 7.91 runner in the sixty. Showed some athleticism behind the plate and came out of his crouch well, developing arm strength but made accurate throws. Also played the infield with some lower half balance and a longer and looser arm than he showed behind the plate. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch, lands a bit closed out front and throws cross body out front. Fastball worked up to 72 mph with consistent cutting action due to his mechanics, also threw a low 60's curveball that was consistent with some two-plane shape and break, did a nice job throwing strikes with both pitches.
