Alfonso Giovannucci is a 2023 3B/1B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Strong, physical build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Primary 3B whose throws across the diamond topped out at 69 mph and he flashed some soft hands at times. On the offensive side of the baseball he hits out of a spread out, even stance. Does a nice job of utilizing the lower half throughout his swing to create some leverage. Showed a flat bat path through the zone that is conducive for producing line drives. Great student.
