JD Teza is a 2026 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Brielle, NJ who attends Manasquan. Teza works from a long limbed and still plenty projectable build with additional strength still to come as a '26 prospect. He worked from a range of defensive spots, starting from the OF where he displayed athletic actions and covered ground well with clear downhill momentum and carry behind throws up to 80 mph. He showcased clean glove work and should see arm strength continue to develop in the future. He flashed the ability to change slots when needed at 1B with quick turns and a reliable glove once again. On the mound, Teza started from the middle of the rubber with an in line arm path and over the top slot to efficiently record outs up to 76 mph. Spin is developing in the arsenal with a breaker at 1708 rpm. Offensively, the righty started from a wider slightly open base with a high compact hand set and toe tap trigger, producing consistent impact to all parts of the field. He had clear bat speed through the zone, posting an exit velo of 82 mph. Ran a 7.40 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
