Campbell Carpenter is a 2027 C/1B, OF with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from College Grove, TN who attends Independence. Tall and physical build with obvious strength to the frame. Primary catcher, lower setup, stays low throughout the operation, gains a lot of ground towards second base, was pretty accurate and throws had some carry on them. Solid, fundamental actions, recorded throws up to 71 mph and a pop-time of 2.08. Secondary first baseman, athletic movements around the bag and moves well for the size, solid feel for the leather and a good arm shown here. Recorded throws up to 74 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, showed some bounce to the actions, athletic movements working through the ball, long arm swing to a higher release and same arm strength. Fundamentally sound player, recorded throws up to 75 mph. Right-handed hitter, wide and even feet, young bat speed, hanging leg lift trigger stride, solid swing with strength at impact. Hit the ball to the middle of the field when in rhythm. Ran a 8.24 60-yard dash. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
