Jakson Ortiz is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-5 124 lb. frame from Nacogdoches, TX who attends Woden. Posted a 7.56 in the 60. Primary OF is a developing athlete with young tools to build on. Showed a soft approach on plays fielding it deep and breaks down his gather through release with progressing actions through the play. On the mound the right-hander topped his fastball out at 65 with a big developing breaking ball. Kept the operation simple. RIght-handed hitter showed good control and consistent approach, works short to the ball with active hands. Impact should increase effectively as he matures.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
