Ethan Karnow is a 2024 C/MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Weeki Wachee, FL who attends Weeki Wachee. Slender build with room to keep filling out frame. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who starts with the feet even in the stance, a little higher set for his center of mass, pops up and uses a shorter arm action to get rid of the ball and make on-line throws to second base. Worked out as an infielder as well, making all of the plates being able to get throws on target across the diamond. Also worked out as an outfielder, showing intent to his actions, working through the ball bent at the waist, fielding it outside his body, and making throws on the bag. A right-handed hitter who starts slightly open with the hands set high and back elbow up. Had some whip of the hands through the zone, getting inside the baseball and driving it. Uses a toe-tap stride getting his weight through the swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
