Alex Curran is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Stratford, PE. A bigger and taller frame with a more lean build. Higher-set waist. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who showed off a leg lift up to the belt with good extension as he strides down the mound. He had long levers in the lower half with a longer arm stroke that had some looseness to it. The fastball worked up to 82 mph and showed some arm-side run. He showed an 11/5-shaped breaking ball in the mix, finding a progressive feel for it throughout the outing. Struck out 4 opposing hitters over 2 and 2/3 innings of work. A right-handed hitter with a taller stance and high-set hands as he sets up, keeping the back elbow up. He was able to meet the ball out front with the barrel during his round of BP swings. Maintained good balance with his stance and was able to turn it over well. He got the ball into the air during his round being able to lift it. Utilized the whole field during his round of BP swings. Added a hit in-game as well. Worked out as an infielder working through the round of throws well. He was able to throw 81 mph across the diamond during his round keeping throws on target and accurate to first base. He ranged well laterally, especially moving up the middle. Fielded the ball off the front foot on a good angle, funneling through and maintaining momentum when ranging up the middle. Showed off a good slow roller as well. Excellent student.
