2022 Sophomore National Showcase (2025 Grads)
Aidan Forrest is a 2025 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends IMG Academy. Nice long athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with good flow into his swing, smooth hand actions with some quickness to them, has quick hips and gets them turned well, middle of the field gap to gap approach, creates present bat speed with more to come, promising young hitter with tools. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, arm strength is his best present tool, can throw from different slots and has nice carry when he's on top of the ball, developing lower half quickness and actions. Also pitched, has a clean and easy arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, short stride out front into his release. Fastball topped out at 82 mph to go with a big and soft 12/6 curveball. Bat is his tool. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
