Manny Baez is a 2027 2B/SS with a 5-3 98 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Gaither. Smaller young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Sound fundamental player even at a young age, has nice side to side footwork on defense and gets in front of the ball well, good release on his throws due to his footwork and makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, is a patient hitter at the plate who sees the ball well, has a well timed leg lift trigger and gets the barrel into the zone on time, showed a very accurate barrel in the games and made consistent solid contact to all fields, picking up numerous base hits and impacting games. 8.25 runner in the sixty. Will continue to improve as he grows and gets stronger.
