Brandon Hettwer is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Cornelius, NC who attends Community School of Davidson. Nice young athletic build with good present size and lots of physical projection ahead. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance, well timed trigger and load, takes a contact oriented approach that doesn't utilize his leverage and strength well yet, tends to decelerate the barrel through the zone. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Showed good hands at first base on defense with developing lower half actions. Also pitched and shows two-way ability. Works from the stretch with a compact high 3/4's arm stroke, works on top of the ball well. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with good angle and some sink and run in the zone. Flashed nice curveball spin and occasional big downer depth. Solid overall athlete who is growing into his body and will keep improving. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
