Christian Gomez is a 2027 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 128 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Olympia. Recorded a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary outifelder with a thin and athletic frame. Worked to the ball well while showing athleticism in the outfield. Throws were on line and accurate to the bases. Left-handed hitter and starts from a medium base with even feet. Uses an overall simple stroke and works to lift the ball on an uphill path. Some length to the path and stayed under control while finding a good amount of barrels during his round. Also pitched and employed a short leg lift below the waist. Landed slightly closed at foot strike and used a shorter arm action before releasing from a mid-3/4 slot. Ran fastball up to 72 and showed good feel to land his curveball. Also threw a good changeup with fade and depth to it.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
