Deegan Cross is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Lake Havasu City, AZ who attends Lake Havasu HS. Recorded a 7.68 second 60-yard dash time. Strong frame with an athletic build and room to add strength. Primary catcher who receives with two hands and keeps the arm compact through the back. Consistent round with above average arm strength and a best recorded pop time of 2.05 seconds. Arm strength played from secondary positions of infield and outfield, with outfield throws coming in at 88 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a slightly crossfire landing and a tight, high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball shows some life up to 83 mph. Good depth to the changeup and used it to get whiffs. Longer arm swing and slow and methodical down the mound. Curveball shows depth but slows to get to it. Right-handed hitter with a spread start and gets good extension. Clean move in and hits under control. Very calm and repeatable. Lifts and pulls the ball well and stays connected. Good leverage and lift with a power-oriented future.
