2022 13U/14U Northern California Showcase
Joshua Adams is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Etiwanda. Lean athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. Very good runner for his age, 7.22 in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base, has a simple and repeatable load and trigger, stays balanced and on time well, has a sound swing and develops solid present bat speed, looks to pull the ball and has some power that way, projects very well as a hitter. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick and active feet that give him range in both direction, stays down well and uses his lower half fielding, smooth on the backhand, nice present arm strength with developing accuracy. Also pitched, has a compact uptempo delivery that hides the ball well and creates some deception, quick arm with athletic actions through release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, used his fastball aggressively and successfully, flashed some spin to his curveball but still developing feel for his release point on that pitch. Nice overall athlete with tools and skills in all areas. Good student. Named to the 13U/14U Northern California Showcase Top Prospect List.
