Gavin Ramsi is a 2024 OF with a 5-7 158 lb. frame from Vineland, NJ who attends St. Joseph Academy (Hammonton,NJ). Ramsi works from a medium frame with additional room to fill out and add strength. Exclusively from his primary OF spot, he showcased developing footwork with intent to create direct routes to the baseball. He attempted to stay on top of throws and release downhill, ultimately topping out at 69 mph with further arm strength coming in the future. Offensively, the righty started from a narrow base with a low back elbow producing consistent contact to all parts of the field. He successfully minimized unnecessary moving parts, keeping the stroke simple and repeatable with evident hand speed through the zone. Ran a 7.65 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
