Kai Carson is a 2027 3B/MIF with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Linfield Christian. Features a medium/compact frame. Ran a 8.45 60-yd dash. In the INF, his hands/glove worked well getting low early with softness at reception and flashed some quickness to release. Exhibited avg. foot quickness but he gets to his spots. His arm action is shorter out the glove with some effort to release but with accuracy across up to 67 mph. At the plate, he sits in a slightly open and narrow stance. Uses a leg lift load/gather where he maintains a more vertical bat. Showed fast hips and quick hands that turn the barrel on a clean path through the middle of the field that produced line drives to both gaps with flashes of some pullside power. Exhibited present barrel control throughout his round and in-game as well where he collected a couple hits.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
