Caleb Trugman is a 2026 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Upland, CA. He has a tall frame and a slender build with plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.41 seconds. Primary third baseman that has twitchy movements and gets into proper fielding positions. He gets his glove down late and shows soft hands. He works through the ball well and showed good carry on his throws for his age. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has a knee to belt leg kick and works in a straight line towards the plate. He has a smooth, repeatable motion that allowed him to live in the zone. He uses a long arm action and fires from a low 3/4 arm slot. His fastball creates nice arm side run that misses the barrels of opposing batters. He flashed a curveball that has 11-5 shape with developing action. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is slightly open with a slight bend in his knees. He uses a small lift and replace trigger for timing and keeps his hands close to his body during his swing. He showed nice bat speed and good barrel control. He will hit for more power as he continues to get stronger. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
