Tyson Lachapelle is a 2024 3B/2B/SS with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends The First Academy. Strong and stocky build. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow base, loads his hands well with good rhythm into his swing, back side hitter who can get into his strong lower half more to drive his swing, creates solid barrel speed and whip through the zone, plenty of solid barrels. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has a good funnel out front and some hand quickness, clean transfers into his throws, short and compact arm stroke. Also worked out in the outfield. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
