Chance Fields is a 2025 SS/RHP, C, 1B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 6-3 150 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Ran a 7.38 60 yard dash. Tall, lean frame with a lot of projection left. Throws from a high 3/4 slot with a rhythmic semi-wind up. His fastball was up to 77 MPH and gets on hitters in a hurry likely due to his above average extension. Has a good curveball that had deep 11/5 shape with bite and had consistency throwing it for a strike. Also threw a changeup around 65 MPH. Good arm for shortstop and has athletic reactions there. Very smooth fielder overall. Slightly open stance at the plate with a small leg lift trigger. Swing has leverage to it with loft in the bat path and has some natural juice. He was named to the Sunshine South Top Prospects' list for the 2025 class.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
