OB Osceola III is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Community School Of Naples. Medium, athletic frame with some length to limbs and present strength, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, begins with a big side step moving into contact, leg lift just up past belt, gets tall on backside with an online arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 77 mph, mostly true in life, occasionally opens front side early coming down the mound; mixed a slider up to 67 mph with short tilt and depth through the zone. Fields the ball out front in the outfielder, takes short steps to the ball, full arm action through the back, can refine lower half mechanics at release. Takes an extra step into release at first base, accurate throws and shows ability to drop slot, fields ball closer to body, quick transfer out of glove. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the ball and keeps hands inside with path, some quickness to them as well. Shows carry to the opposite field, can unlock more with added extension and refinement to path, gets mistimed with front foot occasionally in load. Very good student.
