Joseph Marino Jr. is a 2025 OF/2B with a 5-3 118 lb. frame from Utica, NY who attends Thomas R Proctor. Young, athletic fame with narrow shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran an 8.48 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short and quick steps moving towards the ball, fields the ball out front with two hands, utilizes a crow hop moving into release, short arm action through the back, gets uphill with release at times, arm strength will continue to develop with additional lower half implemented. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Contact oriented approach, works on a linear path and creates some line drive carry coming off, consistent with the barrel, bat speed will continue to develop with added strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
