Samuel Arrendell is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends George Ranch. Lanky, medium build to project upon. Ran a 7.27 in the sixty. Left-handed pitcher, stretch only and shorter stride length with a leg lift to belt. Longer arm action with simple mechanics. Good extension, fastball commanded well to both sides. Slider has late tail with some 12-6 depth to his curveball. Changeup mimics for age well. Also showed well in the outfield with arm strength and some carry. Works through it with good intent to the arm path. Clean mover at first base drills with quick turns. Accurate throws on a line. Left-handed hitter, wider base and open stance. Athletic swing with some whip to the barrel and pull-side strength. Shorter process and comes off well. Good foundation both sides. Named to Top Prospect list.
