Thomas Eugate is a 2027 RHP/IF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Fulshear, TX who attends Jordan High School. Medium frame with some length in a lean build. Ran a 7.77 second 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, good athletic delivery with solid tempo and stuff; high slot release and creates downhill plane on the fastball up to 80 right now, carries it well through the zone with higher spin and pounds the zone, showed two distinct breaking balls with a slider and curveball, both pitches with good spin quality, more vertical on the curveball and lateral on the slider with depth on both, clean mix that misses bats and can project on. Also plays infield, works around the ball well with under control actions, moves into throws well and showed solid arm strength across. Right-handed hitter, athletic swing with good bat speed and extension, works the pull side with comfort and hands fire well on time with the lower half. Named to 2023 13/14 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
