Evan George is a 2027 RHP/C/OF with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Smithville, MS who attends Hatley. Tall, athletic frame with present strength. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, small drop step out of the windup into a belt high leg lift, short stride down the mound and lands slightly open with the front foot, mid three-quarter slot. Fastball has occasional arm-side life, up to 79 mph and sat in the upper-70s. Mixed in a breaking ball with two plane break and depth in the upper-60s. Also flashed a changeup at 70 mph with fading life. Right-handed hitter, open front side with a wide base and high hands in the stance, loose hands and fires the core hard, has bat speed and got the bat extended multiple times in the round. Ball comes off easy with big strength to pull already. Also worked out in the outfield, fields it with one hand on the side of the frame, big crowhop into throws and the ball comes out of the hand well, carry to the bag stood out on throws, recorded accurate throws up to 79 mph. Named to 2023 14u Deep South All-State Games Top Prospect List.
