Mitchell Gray is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Lambert. Long and lean young build with square shoulders and plenty of physical projection ahead of him. Side step delivery with a medium arm circle to a high 3/4's arm slot, lands a bit closed out front, gets down the mound well with his lower half, arm works well and he repeats his delivery well. Mid-70's fastball topped out at 77 mph, gets some arm side running life at times, lots more velocity there as he matures physically. Threw both a slider and change up as his secondary pitches and maintained his arm speed well on them, tends to drop his slot a bit on his slider, landed both pitches for strikes and showed he could pitch backwards when he wanted to. 7.00 runner in the sixty, plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a closed spread stance with a forward lean over the plate, swings hard and looks to drive the ball, right centerfield orientation. Will keep improving on the mound in proportion to how much stronger he gets. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
