Jouseph Gelpi is a 2022 RHP/ with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Toa Alta, PR who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Medium height with a compact frame that can hold bulk. Ran a 6.91 in the sixty yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher, quick and compact wind up and gets in his back leg and drives down the mound. Short arm stroke with a 3/4 release. Heavy fastball that he moves to all four quadrants. Short cutter that was located well to the glove side. Knows how to pitch. More to come. A secondary outfielder, aggressive to the ball showing a quick first step, with big arm strength. A right-handed hitter, length on the back and long through the zone. Quickness to the barrel and intent in the approach.
