Will Darrell is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from East Hampton, NY who attends East Hampton. Darrell works out of a medium build exclusively from the stretch on the bump, flashing cut on the FB up to 77 mph. He held the velocity well throughout his appearance and sequences effectively with a tight breaker on command in any count. Darrell also displayed the ability from the OF, attacking the ball aggressively with a full arm action up to 79 mph. Offensively, Darrell started from a slightly open stance with compact hand speed and a rotational lower half to produce consistent contact to all parts of the field. Power potential should increase as he continues to fill out the frame. Ran a 7.24 sixty yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
