Ian Rasmussen is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Westminster, CO who attends Standley Lake. Large frame with strong, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 8.03 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, smooth arm stroke to high 3/4 arm slot, creates angle when working glove side, fastball worked 77-81 mph with some life, showed curveball with longer break, flashed a slider with tilt as well. Did a good job of throwing for strikes. Hits from balanced, even stance with simple leg lift trigger, length to stroke on flat bat path, projects to add power, whole-field approach. Very good student.
