Gabe Zeldes is a 2023 OF/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from West Bloomfield, MI who attends Detroit Country Day. Showed solid speed with a 6.93 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a larger build. Waits back on the ball in the outfield fielding it out front and before working into the the throws with a lower slot showing some arm speed on his throws to the bases. Right-handed hitter, starts with an open base, using a small toe tap trigger to get back to even, showed a hard level swing impacting the ball best to the middle of the field with good feel for the barrel and some present bat speed. Very good student. named to the 2022 Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
