LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (June 23)
Tanner Thomas is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Arcola, IL who attends Arcola. Recorded a 6.56 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, well-proportioned frame with long limbs and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary outfielder with fundamentally sound defensive actions and plenty of arm strength. Fields cleanly off his front foot, transitions smoothly and maintains momentum into release. Recorded, only accurate throws up to 89 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even, upright stance with compact, tight hand set and leg lift trigger. Hands driven swing with flatter swing path and slight rotational movements in the lower half prior to launch. Showcased occasional impact to the pullside when on-time and in-sync. Twitchy athlete with plenty of arm strength, legitimate game changing speed and offensive upside. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student. Verbally committed to Louisville. Named to the 2022 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
