Carter Cumming is a 2025 C/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Spring Hill, TN who attends Independence. Medium athletic build with some present strength. 7.28 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low behind the plate, receives the ball smoothly and has a clean exchange into his throws, compact arm action with nice accuracy and carry on his throws, was light on his feet in all his actions and gained ground into his throws, projects well defensively. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his athleticism and arm strength well there. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a good shift into contact, good swing base to grow into has he gets stronger, middle of the field line drive contact and will flash the ability to turn the barrel with some aggressiveness. Good athlete who projects in all areas, Good student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
