Zane Keele is a 2027 SS/RHP/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Dover, AR who attends Russellville High School. Compact, durable frame with plenty of room to add strength. Recorded a 7.94 secondary sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with developing defensive skill set. Used deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process, while displaying a clean funnel out in-front and accurate throws up to 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with deliberate pace to it and segmented movements down the slope. Incorporates slightly coiled leg lift into balance and medium stride length out to foot strike. Fastball worked in the low-70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 74 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Flashed slower 11-5 shaped breaking ball with a developing spin profile and gradual depth as his secondary offering, will continue to improve with refinements mechanically and additional velocity. Took part in the outfield portion of the defensive workout as well, where he showed similar deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process. Fields cleanly off his front foot, shuffles into release and produced throws up to 71 mph during drills. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider, slightly open base with a tight hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Sinks into lower half before launch, incorporates slight bat wrap and elongated swing path. Linear swing path with some intent and mostly opposite field contact, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
