Eric Anton is a 2022 1B/C/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Macomb, MI who attends De La Salle Collegiate. Medium, athletic frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields it deep close to body, lower slot on throws across the diamond, turns well on feet, arm strength will continue to develop. Fields ball to side in the outfield, works through the ball well, shows carry on throws, gets under throws at times. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and narrow stance with a high back elbow at the plate. Relaxed set up, stays compact to the ball with present bat speed through the zone. Creates line drive contact, consistently found the barrel and repeats swing, swings with intent. Very good student.
