Gabe Stewart is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Celina, TX who attends Prosper. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.97 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, short strides around the dirt, plays low to and through it, has some quickness to the feet but developing feel to be in a good receiving position, showed arm strength clocked up to 75 mph across. Also pitches, clean mechanics through delivery, compact release, sinks the fastball some while showing three pitches, has some shape to project the breaking ball on and turned fading changeup. Righthanded hitter, timing sensitive toe tap trigger, longer swing with some present bat speed, gets good separation but can get too uphill at times creating topspin. Athletic swing process that projects longer term.
