Jenkin Alexander is a 2022 2B/3B, SS with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie. Recorded a 7.42 second 60 yard dash time. Primary second baseman, circles it well and turns the hips, fields the ball out front. Solid footwork with quick feet, gets into position well. Short arm action with a quick transfer and release, limited arm strength at present. Made all the plays and put together a clean round with accurate throws, good fit for the right side of the infield, will improve as his arm strength develops. Left-handed hitter with a short swing path and present bat speed and hand quickness. Simple operation overall with a gap to gap approach. Decent balance and extension in the swing, fires the hips and does a good job of shifting his weight forward. Produced solid contact in the gaps all round. Good student.
