2022 Deep South Prospect Showcase
Ethan Kelley is a 2024 OF/2B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Neville. Ethan ran a 7.19 sixty yard dash. Ethan has a medium athletic frame showing room to add to the frame moving forward. Primary Outfielder stays back on the ball while fielding it with two hands. He gets it quickly out of the glove transferring it to a shorter arm action with a decently fast release. Kelley showed accurate throws with some carry to them. Right Handed Hitter starts with a wide even base with a slight toe tap trigger. The hands start high and shift higher in his trigger with more of a downhill swing path to it. He showed some bat speed with some jump off the barrel. Ethan sprayed the ball to all fields with most of his line drives and strength coming to the pull side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
