Hudson Riordan is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Lake Wylie, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. A bigger & taller frame with strength showing. Broad shoulders. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary corner infielder who worked out as a first baseman, fielding with two hands up the middle of his body working into it. Took a good path to it with good feeds and accurate throws, with some zip on it at 86 mph across the diamond. Worked out as an infielder as well, showing off quick feet and a backhand that played well. The transfer was deeper on backhands but he had a quick arm and a quick release. Snatchy hands working up the middle, and he threw 83 mph across the diamond. Worked out as an outfielder who three 84 mph from the outfield during his round. Threw from a higher slot and had a crow-hop working into throws. A left-handed hitter who has a wider base with a broad and bigger stance. Physical look in the box. Throws with higher-set hands and a high-back elbow. He turns it over well and was able to split the gaps during his round of BP swings. He utilizes the hips well and was able to leverage the ball pull-side during his round of BP swings. Pieced together a good round of swings during BP. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Added a double in-game. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher. He had some strength showing working out of the wind-up. He side-steps into a leg lift that was quicker before he works down the mound. He threw from a high three-quarters arm slot with some whip to the arms. He missed a couple of barrels up in the zone working 80-82 mph. Showed a curveball in the mix as well in the mid-60s. Punched out the side during an inning of work in relief. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
