2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 15)
Clay Mitchell is a 2024 1B/3B with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Abita Springs, LA who attends Fontainebleau. Strong, physical build especially in the lower half. Primary first-baseman, solid footwork, athletic actions, clean transfer and firm throws across, up to 70 mph. Overall solid round of infield workout, has a good idea of what he is doing at first base. Right-handed hitter, even base, high hands and back elbow with big hanging leg lift trigger. Busy swing, found some loud barrels when everything is in sync. Has good bat speed and natural loft in the swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
