Ian Iopa is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-7 120 lb. frame from Honolulu, HI who attends Mid Pacific Institute. Recorded a 7.79 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, slender frame with plenty of room to add strength. Primary outfielder with anticipatory footwork into the fielding process. Fields cleanly off his front foot, while working slightly uphill into release. Displayed developing arm strength up to 65 mph during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively out of the stretch. Incorporates belt high leg lift into balance and shorter stride out to foot strike. Segmented delivery with long, deep arm action and a high front side. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 60s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 65 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in an 11-5 shaped curveball that flashed gradual depth and developing spin profile. Also, flashed changeup as another secondary offering and has a tendency to slow his arm down prior to release. Right-handed hitter that hits from an exaggerated wide and slightly open stance with a tight hand set. Incorporates a deep, backward weight shift to start his swing and a deeper hand load to get his hands moving. Whole field approach with developing bat-to-ball skills and slightly inside-out swing path. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
