Carter Belton is a 2023 OF/UT with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Blue Valley Northwest. A taller frame with some strength in the build. Ran a 6.62 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who showed off a quick first step. He goes to get it, gains some momentum, and moves well laterally. The throws came out at 84 mph and had some carry on them from a whippy arm action. A right-handed hitter with a taller and wide base. He's got high-set hands and the back elbow up, closing off the front side in his swings. He uses a load and stride to get on time, with a direct path to the ball with his hands in the upper half. He gets the barrel to the ball and drives it to the middle of the field. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity with some snap in the barrel. Produced good rounds. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
