2022 Ohio Valley Workout Showcase (Wed)
Reed Muir is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Ann Arbor, MI who attends Saline. Large frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.93 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, short stride into swing, loses connection through launch and barrel dumps as a result, showed whole-field approach, has wiry strength with projection for much more power. Worked out in the outfield, clean footwork to and through the ball, stays balanced, fields cleanly and clocked up to 82 mph on throws. Also pitched and graded out best there, balanced delivery, clean over rubber, good leverage through stroke, fastball worked 81-84 mph with some life, showed curveball with good shape and some bite, turned over changeup as well. Very good student, named to 2022 Ohio Valley Workout Top Prospect List.
