Tyler Peller is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Saint John, IN who attends Andrean. Recorded a 4.90 second forty yard dash time. Tall and lanky frame with strength present, great physical projection. Primary outfielder, fields off the front foot and throws with max effort. Utilizes a full arm stroke and flashed big arm strength, glove work will continue to improve. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a long and loose arm action, has real arm speed and works with an up-tempo delivery. Lands online with good extension and finish to the plate, stays aggressive and goes at hitters. Tends to rush the delivery at times and can improve command as he consistently repeats the delivery. Will pitch to both sides of the plate, flashed a slider with sweep and a curveball with 1-7 shape and sink, also has a changeup with fade in the repertoire. Plenty of things to like and project on here. Left-handed hitter with a wide spread base and a crouched stance, starts with a low back elbow set. Shifts the lower half well, certainly has bat speed and strength in the swing, can really impact when on time and out front. Will continue to improve with more consistency in the hit tool. Good student. Named to the 2023 Chicago Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
