2020 Southeast Prospect Showcase
Ethan Hart is a 2022 C/MIF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Dublin, GA who attends West Laurens. Small and lean frame with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with a wide based stance, sits low in his legs, good receiver with a longer transfer and developing footwork, accurate throws with young arm strength at present. Secondary right-handed pitcher, belt high leg lift delivery, deliberate with tempo of windup, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball topped out at 76 mph, slurvy curveball and straight changeup mixed in as secondaries. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance and a high hand set, upper half dominant swing and gets the head out in front, creates a lift to his swing path, found the barrel with some strength to project on in the box. Outstanding student.
